As you guys may or may not know I've been on a service dog list for about 5years now and over those 5 years ofbeing on the list and not getting a dog, I have realized that I need a dog more for my anxiety than physical help because about a year and a half ago we had my uncle's 10-week-old black Lab puppy at our house for about 10 days and when she was here I had a really bad anxiety attack of course over math homework because what else is it over or other things too but when Casey was here my sister was home and the minute Allie picked Casey up from the floor and put her on my lap the anxiety attack completely went away. so I realized I needed a smaller dog that would stay on my lap all day and calm me down. After realizing that small dogs stop my anxiety attacks, I have decided to take myself off the service dog list and get a small dog instead. I did some research and I found Cavaliers who are actually perfect
because they are bread to sit on the laps of Kings but I
spoke to my parents and my mom doesn't want another
shedding dog because we already have a yellow lab that sheds a lot. So I came across cavapoos which are Cavalier poodle mixes so they don't shed. so I am so excited to
announce that after 5 years of waiting on the service dog list I am finally getting my own dog. I am so excited to share this journey with you all and I am so excited to share her with you all soon
